libsnapper-dev software package provides Library for Linux filesystem snapshot management tool (header files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsnapper-dev
libsnapper-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsnapper-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsnapper-dev *
You will get with libsnapper-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
